Silver perchlorate, AgClO4

The monoxide dissolves in perchloric acid, forming the Silver perchlorate, AgClO4. It is also produced by double decomposition from barium perchlorate and Silver sulphate. The unstable, deliquescent salt melts at 486° C., and decomposes at higher temperatures.
