Silver oxybromide, Ag5Br7,Ag2O
A silver oxybromide, Ag5Br7,Ag2O, is formed by the oxidation of finely divided silver by p-benzoquinone. It consists of colourless, glistening lamellae, and is converted by potassium iodide into the corresponding oxyiodide.
