Silver hyponitrite, Ag2N2O2

Addition of Silver nitrate to solutions of alkali-metal hyponitrites produces the Silver hyponitrite, Ag2N2O2, as a yellowish precipitate. It is very slightly soluble in water, is sensitive to light, and is decomposed by heat into silver, nitrogen oxides, and nitrogen.
